Nussle to Join CNBC

New York, NY -- Financial cable news network, CNBC has announced
that Jim Nussle is joining the network as a contributor. Nussle,
a former Iowa Congressman, Director of the White House Office of
Management & Budget (OMB) and Chairman of the House Budget Committee,
brings CNBC viewers insight into current Washington, D.C. policy,
procedures and politics.
Mr. Nussle’s experience includes serving in the cabinet of President
George W. Bush as the Director of OMB, the federal agency responsible
for the development, enactment and implementation of the president’s
fiscal agenda, regulatory priorities. OMB also functions as the
“clearing agency” for all Administration policy decisions and official
communications on behalf of the president. In addition, Nussle
also served as an advisor to the president as a member of the National
Economic Council, National Security Council, Homeland Security
Council and National Domestic Policy Council.
Nussle has previously appeared on various CNBC shows and occasionally
guest co-hosts “Squawk Box,” a "pre-market" morning news and talk program where
the biggest names in business and politics discuss the most important
stories of the day. The new “contributor” arrangement means that
Nussle will make more regular appearances on CNBC.
Nussle is also President and CEO of The Nussle Group, a multi-disciplined

range of clients.
Nussle joins other CNBC contributors including former Democratic
Party chair, Howard Dean, founder of the conservative organization
“Club for Growth,” Stephen Moore, former press secretary to President

political backgrounds.
